Lake Lure Inn Wedding

Jennifer and Tyler Tefft have just graduated from PA school, got married, and returned from their breathtaking honeymoon in Greece. Having the flexibility of time this summer I was able to quickly return the images to their via online gallery before they were jet set, however, I didn’t get around to blogging about their unforgettable mountain wedding. Their venue was the Lake Lure Inn located near Asheville NC and if you were unaware, it was the exact place where the summer romance Dirty Dancing took place.

This classic and vintage inn was a stunning backdrop next to the Carolina blue ridge mountains. Before the wedding Jenn and Tyler wanted to pray together, this sliver of the time these two shared back to back with a door in between them as they spent a few moments together before their wedding was one of the most sincere things I have had a chance to witness. This was parallel to the first look she had with her dad.

Their ceremony was under the pergola overlooking the lake and it was a sight to witness. The love of these two and their families was clear. After the ceremony, I was able to steal these two away for 45 minutes for someone one on one portraits. The reception was a grand party that went late into the night and even included some dirty dancing lifts. Their wedding was truly such a wonderful event to have been a part of.
