Ryan and Sarah Engagement: Buffalo Creek, NC

I am looking forward to shooting their destination wedding in Saint Maarten next April. They are that cool casual, fun-loving couple that makes photography so easy. So when we began discussing their engagement session location, they jumped to tell me about this trail. The Buffalo Creek Preserve is located in Mt. Pleasant, NC, about 45 min outside the Charlotte area in the Concord direction.

When we arrived, the trail was completely empty. We had such a wonderful time prancing around at sunset and enjoying the nearby creek. I personally love Charlotte area hidden gems like this. Were were the only people there and really were able to have fun in the sitting. You can see he carefree joy in every shot, despite the summer heat.
