Jaia and Marvin reached out to me in October 2020 to capture their impromptu elopement in Chimney Rock, North Carolina. Being familiar with the Lake Lure, Chimney Rock area, I immediately jumped at the opportunity. The couple was so excited to get married, but they wanted to keep their elopement a secret until they could officially announce their union. Marvin's father (a pastor) helped marry them, and the couple rode with me to the top of the mountain to take some commemorating photos with sweeping views. This time of year's fall foliage was stunning, and Jaia was so happy to be with Marvin on a mountain top. Photographing all the sweet moments between these two to celebrate their day was an honor.
