Charlotte Family Photographer - Denver, North Carolina

Stephanie was adamant about having me come to their families’ favorite spot in the woods in Denver, NC. The drive out into the country was worth it because these trails by the creek were the perfect setting. The day of the shoot it seemed like rain was inevitable. Luckily it held off. However, the cloudy day gave the forest a moody vibe. Matt and Stephanie’s two children were at home in this forest, they showed me all their favorite spots. When photographing a family with small children, it’s SO important to be in a place children are comfortable (it also helps to bring snacks and toys).

This family was fearless! they all walked out on a log over the creek together and took some beautiful photos. Nature-loving people are my kind of people.
